HVAC Installer
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Installations: Participate in the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioners, duct work, pool heaters, and more
- Service & Maintenance: Cover on-call rotation for emergency service as needed
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and provide high-level customer service during and after installation
- Troubleshooting: Resolve installation issues efficiently and troubleshoot problems as they arise
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations are completed to code and meet company standards for safety and performance
- Inventory Management: Keep track of tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring that everything needed for the job is ready and available
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HVAC installation experience or a relevant degree from an accredited institution
- Licensing: EPA 608 Universal Certification
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environments (attics, basements, rooftops)
- Tools: Must have basic hand tools and HVAC tools (vacuum pumps, torches, and specialty tools are provided)
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record search
Pay
$25 – $35 per hour/piece rate
