HVAC Lead Service Technician

Summary
Coral Air Conditioning is a family-owned and operated HVAC company located in Cape Coral, FL. We are growing our team and seeking an experienced Lead Service Technician to join us! Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain HVAC systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot defective systems and equipment to diagnose issues
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Repair, replace, and adjust vents and ductwork
- Clearly communicate repair needs, available options, system accessories, and recommendations based on each customer’s HVAC system.
- Evaluate aging or inefficient HVAC systems and, when appropriate, prepare and present system replacement estimates to customers
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage
Qualifications
- 3+ year experience as an HVAC technician
- Strong understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Physically agile and dexterous, with the ability to work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Valid EPA certification
- Must pass a background check
- Must have basic tools
Pay
$30.00 – $40.00 per hour + commissions, bonuses, and benefits
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week, including rotating on-call coverage
